Actress Jackie Forster didn’t let a netizen pass after it wrote a comment on her post about her son, Kobe Paras.

On Instagram, the mom of five shared how proud she is of Kobe, who is currently in Bahrain with the Gilas Pilipinas team for the Fiba Asia Cup Qualifiers.

In her efforts to promote her son’s game, a netizen said that her son was only “feeling sikat.”

Jackie didn’t take this comment lightly, prompting her to reply, “And ikaw, ano feeling mo? Ano gusto mo maramdaman or mangyari now that you’ve said it?

“You are just an ‘ordinary average guy,’ yes. And you will never be more. Why? Because of your mentality.”

The actress continued to defend her son by saying that Kobe has been working hard to make his dreams come true.

“At least anak ko mula pagkabata pa lang ibinigay na n’ya oras, pagod, at buhay nya para sa isang bagay na mahal nya, basketball–para sa bansa natin,” she said.

“E, ikaw? Ano toka? Ang galing galing ng mga taong walang ambag sa bayan.

“Magsalita ng masama sa mga batang magpupursige at nagsasakripisyo para may makamtan sa buhay–ni hindi nila alam kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng hard work and sacrifice.”

The 41-year-old celebrity mom continued to say that what Kobe has reached, at the age of 23, is far broader than that of the netizen.

She added, “Go give your mom a hug. Maybe your heart will start beating right afterward, and you will suddenly have bigger goals. Goals that actually require hard work and sacrifice.”

The netizen then digressed and said that Kobe is only popular among the LGBTQIA+ community, given his good looks.

Jackie replied, “Katulad mo, I guess? I mean, you are looking at his photos even on his mother’s account.

“Spending time and effort to be passionate about why you can never have him or be him. Hurt people hurt people.

“Sikat siya with all sexes, tama ka d’yan. That’s how fake works, FYI. Ikaw lang ‘yung in denial. Now go enjoy your life and stop worrying about my pogi boy.”

Kobe Paras is the son of Jackie Forster to ex-husband and basketball player, Benjie Paras. He is the younger brother of Kapuso actor Andre Paras.
