Celeb couple Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo have decided not to take on any acting projects together this 2019, and it seems like everything is going A-Ok! Kathryn has finished shooting her film Hello, Love, Goodbye with Alden Richards and we’re super excited to see it! We’re also curious about his first ~official~ meeting with Kath’s “Tangi.“
During a recent press con, Alden shared that Daniel actually came to talk to him during their shoot in Manila! “The first time we met personally na nag-usap kami was noong pumunta po si Daniel sa tent. Nagkita po kami sa Hong Kong pero nagkahiyaan po kami,” Alden shared. “Mabait po si Daniel. Talagang nag-congratulate siya at nagpasalamat po siya na inalagaan ko rin si Kathryn.”
In the film, Kathryn plays the role of Joy, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Hong Kong who has big dreams for her family. Alden’s character is named Ethan, also an OFW. He’s a guy who relentlessly pursues Joy and wants to be with her, even saying in the trailer, “I’ll take whatever you can give.”
Netizens have been reacting to the two’s closeness, as seen in Kakai’s posts.
Earlier this year, Alden sent Daniel a text message before he and Kathryn started filming Hello, Love, Goodbye. Daniel, who is apparently not a fan of texting, didn’t reply because he preferred to talk to Alden in person.
Back in April, Daniel surprised Kathryn by flying all the way to Hong Kong. Kathryn was so happy to see him that she actually leaped into his arms! She missed him so much, partly because Direk Cathy Garcia Molina didn’t allow her to communicate with DJ while filming to help her get into character more.
They hit up ancient cities, enjoyed sand dunes, and stopped to take photos with sheep!
